Biography of Paul Reuter Sales Consultant

Paul Reuter has a broad experience in technical sales of computer software and hardware systems and electronics design automation software. After eight years at Digital Equipment Corporation, he began his career in the EDA marketplace in 1978 as an application engineer for PCB design systems at Racal Redac, moving into sales one year later.

His skills in selling high technology products widened as he worked for GE-CALMA, McDonnell-Douglas Automation and then for Daisy Systems Corporation as Northern German Sales Manager. In the latter company, his reputation and customer oriented selling approach achieved high recognition in the worldwide sales team. Following this success Reuter became Central European Manager for CAECO Inc., and then held similar senior sales positions with Silicon Compiler Systems, Mentor Graphics and Cadence Design Systems.

Although a technically and customer oriented person, Reuter wanted to extend his background to include financial and commercial services and to that end worked for a German financial consultancy organization. However, he never lost his links to the high technology world and the needs of European electronic engineers.
